Dear highly valued foreigner guest,
Welcome to Japan, and welcome to the Blue Sky View Hotel Toranomon. We have won the ‘Best Amenity Life Award’ three years in a row.
You found our location! We are impressed. You should be too.
The weather today in Tokyo is forecast to be a [comfortable] [25C degrees (77F)] and sunny. There are approximately [12] days a year this [nice].
The yen is currently trading at [150] to the U.S. dollar. Please buy everything you see.
No really. Please.
You may ask, is the Blue Sky View Hotel Cashless, Organic, Net Zero, Sustainable, and Inclusive? Our commitment to these global principles is unshakable, until domestic demand recovers or the yen strengthens back to 90, whichever comes first.
Our Gift Shop is on floor five.
Start Your Day Right!
Blue Sky View Hotel Toranomon listens carefully to western people expectations. We are therefore excited to share with you our new Western Foreigner Breakfast Plate, which we developed according to client feedback!
You have told us you do not like grilled fish in the morning. Slurping coastal rock moss, cold tofu cakes with shavings of Bonito Fish, and squid bowels are not your favorites at 7AM either.
We hear you! Not a problem.
Our Western Foreigner Breakfast Plate has powdered and organic eggs because this is what you love. (It seems you like pancakes, waffles, and French Toast, too, but these require human cooks. Japan’s population is shrinking now so cooks are not possible.) Thank you for your understanding!
We also give you two extremely large pieces of white toast. So fluffy and without grain or ruffage that requires chewing or digestion. Please spread margarine on the toast to really get a taste from your home, which our AI-mined data tells us is, on average, in southern Ohio.
Finally, we know dietary balance is important to you. So an iceberg lettuce salad (dressing pack included) with Nippon Ham sausages and Lotte Ketchup (as many packs as you want) round out our Plate. You will have all the “go” needed to start your day exploring Toranomon.
Many people ask if we have green tea. We do, but it is not for western foreigner guests. Enjoy our coffee urn and thank you for your understanding!
See the Town
Japan is waiting just outside our doors. How exciting for you!
May the Blue Sky View Hotel make suggestions for sightseeing close by? There is not much in Toranomon—largely a neighborhood of office buildings, discount golf equipment shops, and hospitals—but we make do with what we have, right?
You may ask why we built a hotel here. Japan stapled and pasted many hotels together in preparation for 300,000 rich overseas visitors coming here for the Olympics. Cancellation of the Games means you now have an amazing array of hotels to choose from…but in places like Toranomon.
That’s not your issue of course. But it sort of is.
Here’s what you can find in our neighborhood.
Toranomon has a great hand-made garden tool shop! The owner is a sixth-generation hoe maker specializing in birch-only handles. If he’s awake when you visit he will show you his handle-winding technique, famous in East Japan. Japanese language only, we are very sorry.
We also have a museum dedicated to insurance! Learn the history of casualty, marine, and fire coverage in Japan.
Really, some of the world’s best golf discount stores.
There is a dragonfly statue produced by the daughter of Prime Minister Kaifu.
The site of a sumurai’s beheading in 611. Coincidentally, this is also where 130 Christian missionaries were rounded up during the Oikawa Shogunate.
Enjoy your stay!
Very fun
