I'm chuckling - but also feel bad for chuckling because, well, Curtis isn't funny 😬 It sounds hideous... I start whining when temperatures hit 25 degrees here...
When I first read Curtis I thought you meant the novelist Curtis Sittenfeld because she recently did a kind of experiment in the New York Times, going bat to bat with ChatGPT to see if readers could tell the difference in what they produced as a beach read. But your Curtis is so much scarier, just like summer in Japan.
My wife kept saying I was getting old and should temper my body, so I started working as a part-time tourist guide. In summer. I'm already thinking about retiring.
I never thought I’d say it, but I truly miss 100f (DRY HEAT) days in L.A. We moaned about those too, sure, but I now know what at least having breathable oxygen is like.

I’ve gotten used to normal “summer” but I do start whining at anything over 30.
It gets hard to function when they top 30... Summer was on the cool side here this year, but the seasons are getting so messed up :(

Hahahah!!! Nah my Curtis was disturbed.
I used to love summer in Italy.

I live on the other side of JPL near La Cañada so the real Curtis might very well be my neighbor. Should I punch him for you if I see him?
In related news, it's been over 100°F here for the past couple of weeks. Dry heat, though, so not quite Curtis.

And thanks SO much for the share and kind words!
Hahaha.
Hurricanes, cyclones and typhoons should be named after tyrants. Imagine the report: (Name of tyrant) is wreaking havoc in the Caribbean…
The winds of STALIN!!!!!
💨😂😂
After I wrote that comment, I looked up dictators, tyrants, etc. 👀ooohhh
Curtis has certainly made its point on my life this year 🥵
He’s ill.
